The Designer
Carmelita Ribba – aka Mia Carmen – trained at the Koefia International Academy of High Fashion in Rome. She took her first steps in the fashion world by participating in various international competitions for young designers before moving on to the catwalks of High Fashion in Rome, where her collections were shown together with those of the most famous Roman couturiers such as Gattinoni, Fausto Sarli and Balestra.
Like other talented young designers, in the meantime she designed collections for various Italian prêt-a-porter companies.
But her passion for her work and her love for beauty compelled her to abandon prêt-a-porter and dedicate herself to creating tailor-made clothes. In 1997 she opened her atelier in Rome.
Recently she was awarded the Mondi Lucani 2020 award, assigned to natives of the Lucania region who have distinguished themselves in Italy and in the world with their activities.
A strictly personal relationship
Carmelita Ribba – Mia Carmen receives by appointment to personally follow each customer and give her the time and attention she deserves; her expert eye allows her to best advise clients, dressing them in the way that best enhances their figure and their desires. She doesn’t just make clothes, he provides real image consultancy.
Her clients are women who like to dress with a certain elegance or who need, for work or social commitments, to always be well dressed and who prefer a personal and quality style.
